Happy 9.02.10!
Our office closed early due to the situation at Discovery. I got home just in time for the press conference where it was reported that the suspect was shot. We’ve since learned that the suspect is dead, and no one else was injured. What a surreal day.
My office building is on lockdown because we’re across the street from Discovery HQ and there’s an armed gunman inside. 1 hostage, reports of shots fired (not sure if anyone was hit). The daycare was evacuated, as well as some employees. We’re all standing by the windows, watching it unfold. I’ve never seen so many cops in my life.
Also, the cops are taking water from the hot dog vendor’s cooler. They better leave some cash.
Oh, I shouldn’t hate. I was obsessed with NKOTB as a youngster.

Seriously, I’m sure he’s fine and it’s stress or whatever and they probably won’t even admit him and I’m going to keep posting funny stuff because if I don’t I might get upset and nobody needs to see me get all spastic and crazy so good thoughts, k?
