KKBB and I are off to Portland at the end of the month for a little bizness trip. Conveniently, Cooking Light features Portland in it’s Healthy Living Travel feature this month - KKBB and I are all about the healthy living (except when we’re not). I think we’ll probably skip the “food cart craze”…

I will be making one (ha ha it’ll be way more than one) break from the Healthy Living to stop at Voodoo Doughnut.
Caturday nap on the heater.
Why is it that when a woman is captured in movies, she not only has to wear a ridiculous tiny outfit, but also suddenly has big hair and a lot of make-up? Who did this to Sonya Blade? One of the hooded monks hanging out in Shang Tsung’s creepy tower? Or is there a stylist kept on the staff of every villain for this exact situation?
ARE YOU AWARE THAT NETFLIX ADDED MORTAL KOMBAT TO THEIR STREAMED MOVIES? NO? WELL NOW YOU ARE! EXCELLENT!
You have made my day.
Seeing this tonight!

In Leningrad (St Petersburg) Zoo, the oldest zoo in Russia, a European Lynx has a frequent visitor who has been coming over to hang out with the big wild cat and now they are practically living together. This visitor is a calico cat who has bonded with the Lynx ever since the day she entered the enclosure.
According to the local people, the Russian cat considers the lynx as her mother and spends every day by her side inseparably.
Head, exploding.

After an incredible amount of angst and near-tears and a string of verbal obscenities thrown at my computer screen, I finally nabbed 2 tickets to the DC show. The seats suck but at least I’m going. So, yay!
