We saw Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist this weekend, and I definitely recommend it for anyone who likes sweet, meet-cute stories.

McCain recently ended his campaign in Michigan. So I guess if things are too tough, we should merely ignore the problems? How presidential of you, Walnuts.
I just…I don’t know what to say. I am dumbfounded by those that refuse to get behind safe-sex programs. Seriously. How fucking blind and stupid are you to think abstinence-only programs do ANYTHING? It’s anti-woman, anti-lower income families, anti-anyone other than white people with money, anti-intelligence!!!
I hate that I get so fired up by issues like this that I can’t articulate how wrong the McCain/Palin ticket is for this country.
I’m really tired of the “she’s just like us” bullshit.
AP: “Add up the couple’s 2007 income and the estimated value of their property and investments and they appear to be worth at least $1.2 million.” This isn’t net worth, as it doesn’t include liabilities. By contrast, according to CNN, Biden reported last year that his “assets were only between $62,000 and $405,000, with liabilities of between $140,000 and $365,000.”
So, to hammer this home: The Palins are wealthier than the Bidens. Keep that in mind when she goes around parading as an everyday small-town mom.
Way to kill the love buzz of the last post: who’s up for an immediate heart attack? In MILK GRAVY?
Perfect for the days when you’re craving pig brains and two weeks worth of cholesterol. I don’t know about you guys, but I know what I’m having for dinner.
Wait a second, it’s in milk gravy? Ugh. Nevermind. That’s digusting.
My eyes immediately welled up when I read this beautiful, heartbreaking entry.
Teddy Roosevelt’s diary the day his wife Alice died from Bright’s disease. He was 25, she 22.
