Lynda Carterkittykittybangbang wants more stories. I have all these random stories about “celebrities” from my life of living in LA and NYC and my father being in the entertainment business for a nanosecond and my life in PR, marketing and distribution. Not to mention some weird random celebrity encounters around the world.
I will let the world of tumblr prompt my stories - so here is the first.
Lynda Carter
Two people from work actually met her at a cd signing the other night, but I have come across her several times. She lives in Potomac, MD, her husband owns a gaming business in Rockville, MD and she seems to love American Ballet Theatre. This translates to seeing her in Saks 5th Ave twice; the first time she was buying some make-up and the next it was sunglasses. When buying the sunglasses I think she had just bought an ipod which she loaded with books on tape because she was telling anyone who would listen how great it was to listen to books all day.
I come from a family of ballet lovers. My parents were “patrons” of American Ballet Theatre in NYC. This meant they gave $$$$ and for giving money you received special perks. I also did my high school year internship at ABT. So there were several evenings at Lincoln Center that were attended by me and Wonder Woman.
And the craziest thing is I had an album of hers in the late 70’s all I remember is she had a song that went something like “Toto I have a feeling we are not in Kansas anymore.”
Woo hoo!!!
